Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards 2017 was jam-packed with lots of noteworthy fashion. Africa’s top fashionistas, celebrities and media descended upon Kampala Serena Hotel to walk the longest red carpet in ASFAs history. Ghanaian star Nana Akua Addo made headlines with her exquisite mirror gown from Venezuelan designer Alejandro Fajardo. But, Uganda’s own pack of fashionistas led by Hellen Lukoma, Malaika Nnyanzi, Judith Heard and more couldn’t let Akua reign on their parade in their own town as they stepped out in unforgettable frocks as well.
Perhaps the highlight of the red carpet was real royalty served by Her Royal Highness the Nabagereka of Buganda Sylvia Nagginda who stepped out in a matching skirt and top which were rendered with a mix of prints and lace sleeves. She arrived with Kampala city Executive director Jennifer Musisi who opted for a red mermaid gown which accentuated her curvy frame.
