UTB and KCCA endorse the ASFA’s
The ASFAs fever is hastily spreading. Since the ceremony attracts celebrities and individuals from across the globe, its latest victims are government entities; Uganda Tourism Board and the Kampala Capital City Authority. Following a meeting that the ASFAs team had with the Chief Executive Officer of Uganda Tourism Board, Mr Stephen Asiimwe this morning, the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) is very open to join the list of sponsors of the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards.
A press conference is underway to announce the development and details. But for now, we are excited that the Uganda Tourism Board has realized the immense contribution the fashion industry has on the tourism industry. This; because since time immemorial, fashion has been part and parcel of the identification of cultures, which consequently provides an avenue for tourism to thrive.
Our meeting with KCCA Deputy Public Relations Officer Robert Kalumba also ended on a good note. KCCA promises to hold our hand during this journey. We thus take this opportunity to thank KCCA and UTB for believing in the ASFAs and all that we stand for. We promise to use their support to deliver a ceremony that is going to help both government bodies achieve their expectations.
