Youth in Uganda are the youngest population in the world, with 77% of our population being under 30 years of age. According to research, over 80% of this population is unemployed. The creative industry, where fashion falls comes is as a great opportunity for employment as it offers massive potential for job creation.
The 2018 Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards nominations are officially open to the public. You are free to nominate a fashion personality in the available categories. For eligibility, one should be; 18 years and above, African or of dual citizenship. Foreigners are only eligible if they have been residing or working in Africa for at least two years.
The ASFAs will also highlight the transition of the fashion industry over the years with Celebrity red carpet appearances, showcases from Africa’s top Designers and Models, blended with remarkable performances from both local and international Artistes. The Awards show celebrates and acknowledges stakeholders in the African fashion industry. Creatives cut across 13 categories such as; Designers, Fashion Photographers, Makeup and Hair Stylists, Models, Fashionable Artistes, Music Video and Celebrities among others.

She and a diverse cast which included Stella Tennant, Rianne Van Rompaey, Xiao Wen Ju, Piero Mendez and Edoardo Sebastianelli headed to the countryside for this shoot.
